Alex Cameron, Founder & DIrector

Alex Cameron founded VIA Consulting after eighteen years as a commercial leader in B2B events. She has a track record of growing highly profitable conference platforms including launch portfolios in the Americas, Europe and Africa.

She has led global teams to deliver ambitious growth goals by focusing on clear market research tied to coherent commercial sales and marketing strategy. Her experience includes MD roles in pure-play event businesses and publishing companies including Worldwide Business Research, Clarion Events and Argus Media. She has delivered events from £100k-£2m, with audiences ranging from 100 to 2000 senior execs.

At both Argus and Clarion, she was involved pre and post-sale due diligence and integration work. Most recently she was on the other side of event M&A when she represented the global event business at Argus during its own sale process to General Atlantic, a private equity investor.

VIA Consulting operates a network model. For projects with a wide scope, sector specialists from Alex’s personal network are brought in to provide additional research, analysis, or functional support for sales and marketing.
